The NIHR Colorectal Therapies Healthcare Technology Co-operative, in partnership with the Knowledge Transfer Network Ltd are pleased to announce a jointly hosted event: Biosensing – Detecting Future Trends
The development of clinically useful biosensors presents many challenges to both the academic and medical fields.
At this meeting we will bring together clinical, academic and commercial expertise to develop working consortia that can access appropriate funding to further research in this area. There will be a focus on the use of biosensors for the detection of anastomotic leak, COPD etc., labelling, imaging technologies and robotics. Although the HTC is focused on colorectal disease we wish to draw on expertise in the biosensing field from any clinical or academic specialty.
